Breast Mastopexy

Textured implants have received much attention lately and deservedly so. Research continues but I thought I would post a reason as to why we use them. One thing they offer in many patients is an increased ability to stay where you put them. This 67-year-old female was unhappy with her drooping breasts and desired to be a good D to DD. Keeping implants and breast tissue uphill is always a challenge in mastopexy augmentation and even more so in this patient with loose skin. Therefore, we decided to use Allergan style TCM 445cc textured gummy implants, and a Brazilian type superior pedicle mastopexy. At one year later, she is still up where she wants with both implants and breast tissue!
