Case Details

This 45 year old woman presents with one of the more challenging body types, being very lean with little breast tissue or body fat. Implant rippling and capsule irregularities are very common with thin patients. Saline implants usually won’t work in these cases, and even standard silicone can be tough. So in this patient, we decided on the “highly cohesive” teardrop option. In most other cases I can get a natural tear drop result using a round implant, but every so often, I need a teardrop implant to get a teardrop result, and this is that case. We placed Allergan Style 410 implants mf 295 cc with an incision under the breast, and she was VERY happy, and no rippling!
