Breast Donut Mastopexy

One of the more challenging cosmetic breast procedures is in women who have a little too much droop for straight augmentation and not enough droop to qualify for a full lift. This is where a donut or peri-areolar lift comes into play. In this patient her nipple and areola are at the lower part of her breast. She chose 320 cc Allergan SRLP silicone gel implants and I used a very dual plane approach with half of the implant below the muscle and have above, and then did a donut mastopexy!

5’3” 114 lb. 32 B, who felt that her breasts were a bit on the droopy side for not having children and yet was not ready to make the commitment to a full lift in case she did. In this case, a good compromise is a Donut mastopexy augmentation with sub-muscular 300cc silicone gel implants. Post op she is fuller on top and while she does not have the nipple elevation of a full lift, she does not have the anchor scar as well and is a Full 32 C.

23 year old who was a nice full C cup before having 1 child and breast feeding for 6 months. Afterwards, she felt she was a bit low and a small C. She desired to return to a full C or a small D cup. She presents with what I call that "in-between" breast and we chose to do a donut mastopexy and augmentation with saline implants, 470 on the right and 450 on the left. She shows her breast tissue is up off her abdomen, a fuller breast on top, and a resizing of her areola. Post-op, she is thrilled with the size and shape.

5’3” 135lb. 34 Full C with one child age 11 and she really had enough droop to qualify for a full lift and desired a full cup size. We decided on a donut mastopexy augmentation, using sub-muscular 425cc saline implants bilaterally. She ended up a full 34 D and at three months shows good elevation of her nipple and areola with her scars still healing.

5’8” 145lb. 36 B this patient desired to be a bit on the bosomy side and to have her areola reduced in size as well. We did a donut mastopexy and used sub-muscular 475cc saline implants bilaterally. This worked well to get her breast tissue off her abdomen, increase her cup size and reduce the areola size, ending up a 36D.
